What exactly does OnlineCopy do?
OnlineCopy collects the files you want, compresses them and uploads them to your online storage folder. You can easily manage your local and online files, and compare the files in backups with the original ones on your computer.

How long can I use my activation code?
Once you have purchased OnlineCopy, you keep the software license for ever. No end date or extra payments afterwards.
Do I have to make backups manually?
You could make backups manually, but OnlineCopy has been designed to do everything for you. If you want an extra backup besides the automatic backups, you just click “Backup now”.
Does the software work with my existing ftp server?
Yes. OnlineCopy works with almost any ftp server. If you already have online storage, you can use OnlineCopy to place your backups there.
Do I have to rent online storage space to use OnlineCopy?
No. If you do not have (and do not want) any online storage, you can disable all ftp functions and just make local backups.
How safe are my online backups?
The OnlineCopy server is equipped with state of the art software including a firewall to keep hackers out. Nobody but you can access your online storage. And you can protect your backups with a password so no one can get to the files in your backups. NEW: you can now choose to encrypt your backups with 128-bit encryption, so even the most confidential data can be stored safely.
What if I loose the OnlineCopy software in a crash, too?
If you have lost everything including the OnlineCopy software, you can re-download the software, and if you are a registered user, your license key will be replaced at no cost. After installation of the OnlineCopy software you can restore your backups.
I reached my bandwidth limit, but I need my backups?
If you reach your bandwidth limit, you will be notified before OnlineCopy uploads anything. You can always download your backups, even if you have reached your limit. We care a great deal about service and safety, so we will not deny access to your files for bandwidth limitations.
I need more than a gigabyte of storage space…
That could be arranged. Just contact us and let us know what you need.
Why do you need to know what country I live in?
The 128-bits encryption that OnlineCopy uses, can not be exported to a few “bandit states”. The US Government, the NSA that is, does not get happy if these countries encrypt material with such strong methods.
